RN Staff Development Coordinator
Responsible for the planning, organization and implementation of the Staff Development programs including but not limited to the orientation of all licensed, certified, registered, support nursing employees, along with all other employees of the facility.Will be required to assist with mandatory in-service programs for all staff, and the development and implementation and education of nursing policy and procedures as directed. The RN Educator will help to foster employee retention and recognition activities in the nursing department.The RN Educator will work closely with Staff Development, Human Resources, Department Managers and Nursing Administration to maintain and improve current workforce of in particular nursing staff with emphasis on daily operations of the nursing department and quality of care provided by all facility employees.
·Must possess an aptitude for problem solving.
·Employment is contingent on successful completion of a pre-placement physical.
·Employment is contingent on completion of all pre-employment screening inclusive of criminal background check and Medicaid Exclusion Screening, both indicating negative results.
